The first time I heard of Garabandal was watching on Youtube a documentary about Marian apparitions in the s. XX. I caught my attention and I started to read and see more about Garabandal. So in August 2011 my wife and myself visited Garabandal and from the first moment we feel there a very active presence of the Virgin, with great peace to our soul and great food for our faith and conversion. At that time my wife and myself we had spent nearly a year trying unsuccessfully parenting. While there my wife asked this grace to the Virgin. Our little Lourdes was born almost a year later, the exact day of the first apparition of the Virgin in Garabandal: the 2 July. But we do not notice it until last summer (2015) We returned to Garabandal to recharge our spiritual batteries. It was wonderful to realize this great blessing. And while there we could meet and talk with people who witnessed many times the facts of Garabandal. It was impressive.
Since then we have always tried to talk about Garabandal among Catholic believers where it has presented, as we did for example being in Medjugorje with our Spanish fellow pilgrims unfortunately many knew nothing, little or bad about Garabandal. A few months later my wife made the wonderful retreat of Emmaus and went so well that kept pester: I want another retreat at Easter! But we could not find anything that would convince us with accurate information or. So I do not know how I spent my view shelf full of books and objects, and I stared at a music CD the Home of the Mother bought many years ago online, and I said: I'll see if they have any retirement for Easter 'and just: They had a retreat for families in Torrent, only a few 40 min. our house!! So without knowing anything of the Home of the Mother we went to retirement and upon arrival We took the pleasant surprise of seeing in his little store a lot of material on Garabandal: books, videos, etc.! But it is that still there everywhere we heard mention Garabandal! ¡peregrinan a Garabandal! We listened happy songs to the Virgin of Garabandal sung by the many girls and young sisters of the Home of the Mother! The Home of the Mother is an inseparable work of Garabandal! They have a specific web on Garabandal: www.garabandal.it ! And one of his young priests just write the book “Garabandal: Message of Hope”, which it is his thesis at the University of Navarra, interesting! We are convinced that our Mother took us to the Home of the Mother not by chance. Since then, We are even more encouraged and called to “claim” Garabandal so that together make reparation non-host our Mother in her wonderful visit, Garabandal is considered that really belongs and that thousands of people can benefit from this great source of graces and spiritual fruits that our mother is willing to give us there.
